**Intermediate Yoga Classes with Bree**
Sundays from 4-6pm @ the Upstairs Studio.

Register in advance for all 5 classes = $60usd total.
Register or drop-in for one or more classes = $15usd per class.
Advanced pre-registration required. Minimum of 5 people registered to run the classes. Drop-in’s also accepted.
(If you want to participate but are not available Sundays from 4-6, please register your interest anyway and indicate another time, on the weekends, that you are available.)
Take your practice to the next level with this series of 5 workshop-style classes. Through these classes we will deepen our knowledge of the foundations of a safe and sustainable yoga practice, with which you will be able to safely explore some fun and challenging poses and sequences! Come prepared to play with arm balances, standing balances, backbends and inversions (shoulderstand, headstand, handstand, and forearm balance). Each class will be 2 hours long and will begin with an introduction to different yoga breathing practices, and end with a deep guided relaxation (yoga nidra).
Please note that previous yoga experience IS required, as well as a willingness to embrace new challenges! While open to all levels of practitioners, in general this class will not be suitable for people with injuries, high or low blood pressure, and pregnant women. Please contact Bree if you are not sure if this class is right for you.
Bree started practising yoga in 2002 and first began teaching in 2006. In 2009 she trained as a Vinyasa yoga teacher (200 hours) and in 2012 she completed her Level 2 teacher training (300 hours) focusing on anatomy, pranayama (breath work) and therapeutic applications of yoga. Over the years she has studied and practiced a variety of hatha yoga styles including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara and Viniyoga, and her teaching focuses on breathing, alignment and enjoying the practice.
