Come and experience the exotic, passionate, magical rhythms of flamenco. Originating in the south of Spain from unknown roots, some attribute this dance to gypsy origins and others to Arabic heritage. Nevertheless it has evolved to become world heritage and a unique expression of Spanish culture and pride around the whole world. Starting from a beginner level, we will explore some of the basic rhythms, hand movements, footwork, postures and steps in a series of 4 workshop classes. Get ready to learn a new dance, express emotions, do some exercise, and have a good time. Everyone is welcome! No partners needed. Please wear comfortable clothes; long skirt and low, thick heel shoes are preferable for women, though not necessary.
Advance registration is required. Contact Laura to register: +670-7824-8356, firstname.lastname@example.org.
