Deepen Your Yoga Practice: Six Yoga Workshops with Jeanne Finestone!
Most Saturdays from 9:00-11:00am @ the Upstairs Studio
Take one, some or all:  $25usd per workshop OR commit to all six for $120usd, paid in advance.

Whether a committed yogi, a relative newbie, or someone who drops on and off the mat, we can all benefit from an intensive that takes us deeper into what we know and empowers us to explore the depths of Hatha’s many poses and practices.  Comprised of six weekly workshops, we will explore more than 50 asanas and yogic practices, breaking them down to their fundamentals to ground our practice and experience the full power of each asana’s many benefits. Each 2-hour session will offer a full class, of which approximately 75 minutes will be dedicated to a specific category of poses and practices and how to integrate them in a complete practice for the body, mind and spirit.

Workshop #1 = Saturday 20 September, 9:00-11:00am, $25usd
Tone and stretch every muscle with Sun Salutation and explore balance with standing poses.

Workshop #2 = Saturday 27 September, 9:00-11:00am, $25usd
Activate the energy of the backward bends and the contemplative power of the forward-bending asanas.


Workshop #3 = Saturday 04 October, 9:00-11:00am, $25usd
Rejuvenate with inversions and cleanse with twists.

Workshop #4 = Saturday 11 October, 9:00-11:00am, $25usd
Integrate the Ha (sun/masculine) and Tha (moon/feminine) of the physical practice with the Pranic (life force) power of deep relaxation (everybody’s favorite), breathing, and meditation.

Saturday 18 October = Rest

A 30 year practitioner, Jeanne teaches Integral Yoga, the core lineage of the Sivananda School, which includes the Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Anusara Hatha disciplines.  She is also the author of Ener-Chi, Yoga for Teenage Girls.  Jeanne’s multi-level classes includes asana, deep relaxation, pranayama (breathing), and meditation.
