$25usd for 1 parent and 1 child, $10 for each additional child.
Contact Colleen to register: +670-7746-3733, diliwellness@gmail.com.
Minimum of 3 parents and 3 children required to run this workshop. Pre-registration required.

Parents and children will experience interactive, non-verbal communication through playful body movements and games. Bringing various elements of body, movement, and meditation practices to the more interactive dance floor, Sejin explores and experiments with the practical embodied experience of them to apply each to daily life. Through her facilitation, you will experience how to listen to your own body, non-verbal communication with others, and the harmony of all. NO previous dance experience is required!
Sejin is interested in the wisdom of body and its movement reflecting life. She practices Qigong, DANCEmandala, and Contact Improvisation Dance as the main tools for her personal research and sharing with others to encourage them to get connected to their own wisdom and strength within. Her mother introduced her to the practice of body, meditation, and movement in South Korea when she was a child and she was reconnected to these insights and the meaning of them through her own embodied practice in Chiang Mai, Thailand after many years.
Colleen has been doing all kinds of dancing since she was a young child, and has been practicing Contact Improvisation (CI) since 2001. She regularly attends CI classes, jams, workshops, and festivals when she travels abroad and enjoys bring her experience and education back to her Dili Wellness clients in Timor-Leste. Colleen met Sejin at the Contact Improvisation Kuala Lumpur Festival in Malaysia in 2013 and they have managed to meet and dance together several times since then. Her dream is to have a regular group of CI friends to dance and jam with in Timor-Leste!
